Syracuse, NY -- A new traffic pattern will allow for alternating one-way traffic on the Route 370 bridge over the Seneca River, the New York State Department of Transportation announced this afternoon. A temporary three color signal will control alternating one-way traffic across the bridge beginning on Friday. The change is meant to better accommodate off-peak and weekend users while still providing effective traffic control for commuter traffic and quick passage for emergency vehicles, according to the state DOT.
